What’s wrong with Chael Sonnen?

November 17th, 2011

For the most part, the majority of people know that Chael Sonnen has some anger issues to deal with.   That’s a given.  But after seeing this interview on TSN with David Landsberg’s “Off the Record”… I’m convinced he’s a couple of fries short of a happy meal – to say the least

To sum it up, Chael Sonnen walked off a live interview with David Landsberg because he couldn’t handle the fact that the first topic was his fight  (and not to mention loss) with Anderson Silva.  Leading up to the walkout, the 185 lbs  overgrown baby insulted Langberg,  expressed his disrespect for the show, and insulted Canadians.

Riiiight.  Seems to me that the big-mouthed Sonnen is pretty good at flappin his lips, but when faced with questions by  someone more intelligent than he is, he buckles and resorts to what he’s best at. INSULTS.

My advice to him……grab a tissue and STOP BEING AN OVERSIZED CRYBABY.   Deal with it like a man.  If you can dish it out, then you should be able to take it also.    Walking off the show just made you look stupider that you already are.   Secondly, don’t go all patriotic and start insulting Canadians because you don’t want to answer questions.   Not only does it show that your low-class, but you’ve just lost 34 million potential fans.

If the reality shows of today ever start producing “The Next American A**hole”,  I’m nominating him

Good luck with your career……eh.

Ontario MMA Alliance interviews Markhaile “Showtime” Wedderburn on his upcoming fight at Wreck MMA in Ottawa tomorrow night. He covers his strategy, his goals, and his feelings on former UFC fighter Mark Holst.

On Friday night from Quebec, Canada the Score Fighting Series presents: Wreck MMA. This 12 bout card will be headlined by UFC and Strikeforce veteran Joe “Diesel” Riggs as he takes on Jordan Mein. Riggs is a former number one contender for the UFC welterweight championship and sports a record of 34-12 with one no contest. He has finished 16 of his opponents by knockout and 15 of them by submission. He has victories over current Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz, UFC, Pride and Strikeforce veteran Phil Baroni and current UFC welterweight contender Chris Lytle. Mein is a veteran of 25 fights and is currently 18-7 with 11 knockouts and 6 submissions. Mein and Riggs have a finishing rate of over 91% between the two of them so don’t expect this one to go to the scorecards. Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Mein is a veteran of the Rumble in the Cage promotion. He recently fought one time UFC veteran Jason High in August of last year, but was unsuccessful, losing by unanimous decision.

HA,HA,HA,HA,HA. I love this picture. It must eat him up knowing that he was “jabbed to death” by a French Canadian.

Is this guy for real?  It doesn’t even look like Wing Chun.

I particularly like the little dance he does at the end.    Riiiight.

Tito Ortiz Look-a-like?

July 2nd, 2010

C’mon….you wanna laugh.  Admit it.    So do you think he TRIES to look like a baboon, or you think it just comes naturally?

Personally, I can’t stomach Brock Lesnar.  He’s like an immature little 12 year old kid trapped in an anabolic body.   But aside from personal feelings toward the guy, as a fighter, I don’t think he belongs in the UFC.

ufc 116,

Sure, he’s got some wrestling skills – that’s a given.   But if it wasn’t for freakish look and celebrity status from the WWE, Dana White would have never signed him on going by his skills alone.   It’s all about the ratings and how much money the UFC can make.  I would have expected to see a guy like that in the early UFC days where most fighters were one-dimensional.

Although Shane Carwin has an undefeated record, I’m not expecting him to rip through Lesnar with ease.  The best thing Brock has going for him is his strength and size.  Hopefully if he’s smart, he’s been practicing the things he’s NOT so good at.  Like kicking, boxing, submissions…..pretty much everything an MMA fighter should know.

I’m going for Carwin.  Second round win due to referee stoppage.

Get yer popcorn ready.
